Published in the Clinton, OH - Port Clinton News Herald 2004-9-13 Rev John Sutton June 25,1926-Sept 11,2004 Rev John Sutton 78, of Sandusky died Saturday at his residence. He was born in Watertown,NY to Hugh Mills and Mary Helen(Miser)Sutton. Father John was a US Navy veteran who served during World War 11 and as a Navy chaplain during the Vietnam War. He was ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 1956. Survivors include four nieces and three nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Charlie,Fred and Dick Sutton. Visitation:None Mass of Christian Burial: 10:30 am Tuesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Port Clinton. Interment:Private at a later date at Catawba Island Cemetery.
