Published in the Ambler, PA - Gazette 2001-10-3 Martha S. PALME Martha "Marty" S. PALME of Fort Washington died Sept. 25 at her home. She was 54. Born in in Abington, she was the daughter of Dorothy F. WARR SUTTON and the late Wilfred P. SUTTON. She was the wife of Robert W. PALME, for 27 years. Mrs. Palme graduated from Upper Dublin High School and Seton Hall College. She worked as a secretary in the Physical Therapy Department of Arcadia University. Mrs Palme was a member of the Special Olympics, the Colony Club of Ambler, and the Daughters of the American Revolution. Along with her husband, Mrs Palme survived by two sons, Brian P. of Willow Grove and Steven J. of Fort Washington; a daughter Anne J. of Fort Washington; a sister,Peggy Hartzell of Pinegrove; and a brother, John Sutton of Lansdale. A funeral Mass was celebrated Sept. 28 at St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church, Maple Glen. Interment was at Whitemarsh Memorial Park.
