This is as far back as I have got on my Sutton Family Tree so far. I have seen Elisha on the New York 1810 census for Ontario Co. NY when I was looking for Benjamin's son David. Always wondered if he connected to our Suttons in that area. Benjamin Sr. son David also had a son named Eli born 1804-1805 Pompey, Onondaga, NY this could be shortened form of Elisha maybe.
