I am very interested in traceing my fathers line of Suttons. We are from south Texas. My fathers name was Leon Lester Sutton born Sept 8,1921. He married Velma Leona Smith from North east Texas, I don't Know the day or date but , they were divorced and she took her two girls and went back to Gilmer, she later died and the girls were raise at Boles home in Guinlin? Texas. My mother was the oldest of the two Her name is Darce Lee. Leon's father was Alfred Austin and his wife was Virgie Pearl Orr or Ortz I am not sure . I am tring to trace my lineage to the battle of Gonzales, Goliad, San Jancinto, or the Alamo. Have always been told we were there but can not find out for sure any help on this would be wonderful Thank-You all
