Published in the Springfield, IL -The State Journal-Register 2002-4-15 SPRINGFIELD - Helen Isabelle Balster, 66, of Springfield died Saturday, April 13, 2002, at St. John's Hospice. She was born Aug. 21, 1935, in Bethany, the daughter of Murrell and Mary Goetz Sutton. She married Gene Balster in 1955 in Petersburg. Mrs. Balster retired as area manager of Nutri/System Inc. in 1997. She was a member of Woodside Methodist Church. Survivors: husband, Gene; four sons, Greg Balster of Palm Desert, Calif., David (wife Sue) Balster of Springfield, Thomas (wife Dayla) and Robert (wife, Kelley) Balster, both of Chatham; seven grandchildren; mother, Mary Sutton of Petersburg; and a brother, Wayne Sutton of Normal. Memorial services: 11 a.m. Tuesday, Petersburg United Methodist Church, the Rev. Bob Shook officiating. Burial: Rose Hill Cemetery in Petersburg.
