Published in the Shreveport, LA - Times 2002-3-18 Stella Ann Sutton Texarkana, AR -- Stella An Sutton, 96, of Texarkana, AR passed away March 17, 2002 in a local nursing home. Mrs. Sutton was born in Hope, AR on December 22, 1905. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband Luther Sutton, two sons, Eugene Sutton and Lynn Sutton, two daughters, Margie Paulk and Hazel Templeton. Mrs. Sutton is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Jean Sutton of Houston, Texas, two daughters and son-in-law, Ruth and Morrias Vanderbilt of Dallas, Texas, and June Sutton McMahan of Shreveport. LA. Two special friends, Neil Peck and George Peck of Texarkana. Sheis also survived by seven grandchildren, a number of great-grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at East Funersal Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 19, 2002 at 4 p.m. in the East Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Kerr Officiating. Burial will be in the East Memorial Gardens under the direction of East Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Hospice of Texarkana or Christ United Methodist Church.
