Published in the Dayton, OH - Daily News 2002-4-15 SUTTON, George E Age 75 of Dayton, passed away Friday at Good Samaritan Hospital (Dayton, OH). George had retired after 30 years at NCR (National Cash Register) and was a Navy veteran of WWII and a member of the West Milton (OH) American Legion Gingerich Poince Post #487. He served as coach & board member of the First Dayton Little League & Dayton View Little League organizations and was a member of the Dayton Bowling Hall of Fame. He also participated in the Paralyzed Veterans of America Olympics. George was preceded in death by his parents; George & Josephine, and his son Mark. Survived by his wife Joanne; son Gary A & wife Jan of Huber Heights (OH); 2 grandchildren: Karen & Greg of Huber Heights. Funeral service 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 17, 2002 at George C. Martin Funeral Home, Northridge Chapel, 5040 Frederick Pike at Needmore Road. Interment Willowview Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5-8 PM Tuesday.
