Published in the Camden, NJ - Courier Post April 7, 2002 SUTTON, GEORGE A. JR. Suddenly on April 5, 2002 age 79yrs. Beloved husband of Ruth L. (nee Lynch), Westmont, NJ. Devoted brother of Ruth Anderson (Dick), step-brother of Wesley Shaw (Goldie), brother-in-law to Mary Wallace, Betty Hunter, Jane McGoldrick, Peggy Lynch, beloved uncle to Janet Scott (Bill), Wayne Anderson (Pamela), David Anderson (Beverly), Donna Clyde (Stephen), Bunnie Verfaillie (James), Edward Wallace (Linda) & special great uncle to Rachael; Sharon, Bobby, Faith, Seth, Hannah, Matthew, Richard, Sarah, Nina, Brandon, Edward, & John. Mr. Sutton was born in Phila, PA, served in the US Navy during WWII as a Third Class Signalman. He served in Okinawa, Tsukenshima, & Kubasaki. He was awarded Navy Occupation service medal, American Theatre Medal, Asiatic Pacific Campaign medal & the WWII Victory medal. Mr. Sutton was an employee of Seaman's Electronics for over 25yrs. He was a member of the American Legion Post of Oaklyn, NJ & he had been a Westmont resident for over 30yrs. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11am at the DUBOIS FUNERAL HOME, 700 White Horse Pike, Audubon. Visitation will be held 2hrs prior to the service from 9-11am. Interment Brig. Gen.
