Published in the Orange County, CA - Register February 7, 2002 AGNES HARRIET SUTTON FEB. 9, 1921- FEB. 1, 2002 Passed away in the early morning on February 1, 2002, in her home in Bakersfield, CA after losing a three-month battle with lung cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Clark. Born in Camby, Minnesota in 1921, she is survived by her brother, Clinton Roberts of Mio, MI, her daughter, Grace Haggard of Marina, CA, her son, Walter Sutton of Bakersfield, CA and her three grandchildren; Robert Haggard, Andrew Sutton and Mary Sutton. A Marine Corp veteran of World War II, and a member of "The Order of Eastern Star" for over 50 years, she found a special joy in spending time with her family and her hobbies of bowling, bingo, crocheting, and card games. Visitation will be on Tues., from 5 to 7pm. Services will be on Wed. at 9am. Both Visitation & Service will be at Westminster Memorial Park.
