I am researching Sutton's in early Mississippi. My Thomas Sutton married Phebe Humphrey in Jeffeson Co. in 1820. They had 5 children: John, Thomas, Stephen, Margaret, and an unknown daughter. Thomas died in Jefferson Co. of yellow fever. The rest of the family moved to LA. I am trying to connect Thomas to any of the other Sutton's who were in MS in the early 1800's. I am also trying to find his place of burial. Can anyone help?
