If I'm not mistaken, all of Kentucky was Virginia. I have notes on the founding of Maysfield, Ky,founded after Daniel Boone and a Sutton, among others,petitioned the House of Burgess,(the Virginia legislature to create a county seat, as so many people (apparently a required number)_ lived there at that time..
