Published in the Sherman, TX - Herald Democrat 2002-6-16 Alice Louise Tilger Trenton -- Alice Louise Tilger, retired School Teacher, went to be with the Lord, June 14, 2002 at Northeast Medical Center in Bonham, at the age of 97 years. She was born March 28, 1905 in Leonard, Texas to Henry and Edda Johnson Sutton. On Feb. 22, 1930 she married Herman Tilger, who proceeded her in death on Dec 28, 1984. She was also proceeded in death by brothers Norris Sutton and Ray Sutton. She is survived by a son,Herman MartinTilger; daughter; Lenora Ray Parks and her husband, David of Trenton; granddaughters, Carrie Kincade and her husband, Duaine of Telephone; Laurie Countryman of Ft. Worth; grandson, David Mark Parks and his wife, Tracy of Burleson; five great-grandchildren. She loved her church. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Trenton for more than 60 years and would wish that any memorials be made to the Building Fund of the First United Methodist Church of Trenton. Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, June 18, 2002 with the Rev.Dan Gurley officiating. The family will be at the Earnheart Chapel in Trenton on Monday, June 17, from 7-8 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be, Kenneth Crawford, Jim Butler, Billy D.
