Published in the Visalia, CA - Times July 7, 2004 Mona Kile Sutton, 67, passed away Tuesday, June 29, 2004. She was born to Bill and Sibyl Kile on May 31, 1937, and resided in the Dinuba area her entire life. Mona was married to Cecil Sutton in Orosi on Feb. 22, 1957. She taught at Cutler Elementary School for many years and was honored as Teacher of the Year for the Cutler-Orosi School District, which reflected her love of children and learning. In addition to her husband, Cecil, Mona is survived by her sons, Brian and his wife, Nancy, of Fullerton and Brett and his wife, Cheryl, of Fresno. She leaves four grandchildren, who held a special place in her heart, Nicholas and Jocelyn of Fullerton and Alissa and Kelsey of Fresno. She is also survived by her sister, Freda McCarty of Visalia. Services were held Friday, July 2, at the Church of Christ in Dinuba where Mona had been a member all of her life. Interment was at Smith Mountain Cemetery of Dinuba.
