    3. Hello all, my name is Lena. My fourth great grandfather is James Nash who married a Mahala Sutton in 1808 Montgomery County, Georgia. I am looking for information pertaining to her, James & their children. Mahala died before 1821 when Grandfather James married my fourth great grandmother Lenora Whitehurst in Montgomery County, Georgia. Mahala is said to have been closely related to a John A. Sutton who married Hester Ann Harper. Mahala & James Children: Elizabeth B. 18-- * D. 1847 M. Lucius Church, moved to Florida James, Jr. B. 1810 D. M. never married Mahala B. 1811 D. M. David Cooper Smith on 1-23-1831 in Montgomery County, GA Susannah B. 1812 D. 1877 M. James Faulkner Charlotte B. 1814 D. M. Rowan Rowe on 2-2-1835 in Montgomery County, GA Mary B. 1816 D. c. 1877 M. John Smith on 3-13-1831 in Montgomery County, GA * The Griffin Papers states that she was the oldest daughter, but it does not give a birthdate.
