I find this family-father Wm Sheilds, widower w/5 children in Chicago in 1880 census. I can find nothing regarding the mother Mary SUTTON but beleive she may have died before family moved to Chicago. Do you think this may tie into your family? I have been looking for over 8 yrs and need some direction, where can I find such info? My thanks for any help.
