Thank you, Carol Kunz, for posting the information on Abraham Sutton's wife Mary Chenoweth. No one is more delighted than I am that she has been identified. This still leaves a Sutton/Chenoweth mystery, however. Abraham's nephew, Moses Sutton, Jr., also married a Chenoweth, a Sarah. Jon Egge has all of the descendants of this couple, but they are in his "unknown Chenoweths" line. I have always thought that because an uncle and nephew both married Chenoweths, there must be a connection between them. But none has been found yet. I must also make a small correction in Jon Egge's information. Abraham's father married twice, and Abraham is the son of David and his second wife, Sarah Trembly. David and his first wife Elizabeth Cox had Elizabeth, Marah, Isaac, David, and John. Then with Sarah Trembly he had Abraham, James, Moses Sr., and Sarah. Mary Lou Hermiller mhermil@uoft02.utoledo.edu
