    3. Published in the Pekin, IN - Green Banner Publication 2002-7-31 EDWARD D. SUTTON, 66, Seymour, died at his home on Sunday, July 21. Born in Junction City, Ks., he lived most of his life in Jackson County. He was a retired employee of Cummins Engine Company and was a lifetime member of the American Legion and a member of the Eagles Lodge. He was a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include his widow, the former Janet Hopper; four sons, Gregory D. Sutton, Michael E. Sutton, Edward Sutton Jr. and Dennis Sutton; two daughters, Kimberly J. Matern and Debbie Martin; three brothers, Richard D. Sutton of Mooresville, Harold L. Sutton of Delaware and Charles David Sutton of Maryland; a sister, Mary Catherine Sheek of Ft. Myers, Fl.; a half-brother, Danny Sutton; two half-sisters, Alberta Sutton of Florida and Sally Sutton Lancaster of Trafalgar; 11 grandchildren; and four step- grandchildren. The funeral was conducted on Wednesday, July 24, at the Voss Chapel in Seymour. The Rev. Gary Bechtel officiated. Burial was in Riverview Cemetery in Seymour following full military graveside rites conducted by members of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled American Veterans 47 and Vietnam Veterans Post 7, all of Seymour.
