Published in the Fort Worth, TX - Star-Telegram 11/12/2004 Bethesda Helena Sutton, 86, a registrar for the Fort Worth Independent School District, retired after 27 years of service, died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2004, at an Arlington nursing home. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 522 Missouri Dr., with Luther Henry, officiating. Visitation: 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at historic Baker Funeral Home Chapel. Family hour: 5 to 6 p.m. Bethesda Helena Sutton was born July 23, 1918, in Fort Worth. She was an active member of St. Andrews UMC, a member of Cups & Saucers, charter member of Eta Phi Beta Sorority, served on the board of directors of Casa Manana, was a member of State Teachers Association and Fort Worth Retired Educational Association. She was preceded in death by her husband, George D.; and sister, Mae Fretwell. Survivors: Sister, Teresa Traylor of Dixmoor, Ill.; five nephews; and four nieces. Danny Clemmer Clemmer.org
