Howes, 102 Beulah Rae Sutton Howes, 102, of Hendersonville died Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2004, in her home following a brief illness. She was a native of Washington, D.C., and a resident of Henderson County for the past 12 years. She was a daughter of the late Robert Vincent Sutton and Manitta Harrison Sutton, and the wife of Thomas Vincent Howes, who died in 1974. She attended Stewart Business College in Washington, D.C., and later stayed at home to take care of her family. She was a member of the Upward Seventh-day Adventist Church. Survivors include two daughters, June Loor of Hendersonville and Gloria Eckenroth of Clyde; five grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. A funeral will be held at 7 p.m. Saturday at Upward Seventh-day Adventist Church. Pastors John Loor Jr., John Loor Sr., Donald Eckenroth and Ralph Hollenbeck will officiate. Burial will take place at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland, Md. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Thos.
