This is amazing to me that they are so similar but i'm sure they're not one and the same but i will bet that they do descend from the same family! This Jeremiah Jr went from NJ to PA,around the Northampton area and I don't believe he ever left. I'll keep this email however, for the day I do finally gather more information or if I come across anything in the search for my Jeremiah that you may be able to use! I'll be in touch, and thanks for taking the time to reply! My ggps were Jeremiah R. & Elizabeth E. Ezell Sutton. My gg gps were Jeremiah & Sarah Gassaway Sutton; they were in 1850 White Co. AR Census and shown as being b in SC. The older Jeremiah was b abt 1794; his son, Jeremiah R. b abt 1836, TN. In 1840, they were in Bradley Co., TN. Another Jeremiah Sutton came from Ohio (believe prior, in NC) to AR, Washington Co. He was on tax records, believe in 1837, 1838, 1839 and was m to a Phelan. I don't know if those two older Jeremiah's were kin. I believe my Jeremiah probably was part of the Suttons in NJ; there was a Jeremiah in SC, 1790. I have other info; there are Suttons now in White Co., Stone Co. In 1860, my Suttons were listed in Van Buren Co., AR; 1870, Graves Co., KY; 1880, back in AR, White Co., and where they had lived in Van Buren Co. had become part of Cleburne Co. > I hope your e-mail today, 1-13, my info helps and we can overcome our brickwalls.
