Please does any one know of these "Sutton's" that are buried Evergreen Cemetery, Leavenworth County, KS I think their names would be their married names. I also think the may be wives of a Henry C. Sutton?? Louisa F. Sutton b. 1827 d. 10 Feb 1866 and Mary F. Sutton b. 11 Feb 1834 d. 31 Dec 1879. We are still trying to document what family George S. Sutton Leavenworth City Detective that died 1898 and wife 1899 that left two orphaned children. If this is the Henry C. Sutton family our Kansas Census stated Henry b. Oh, his Father b. PA. Mother b. KY and George b. Iowa as well as other children in family and the younger ones all born KS. So far we cannot document our George S. He was married and had a son Henry who was listed as a step son to his second wife Emily "Emma" Preston in her obit a year after his death. He was 32 and she was 17 when they married. This Henry in "Emma"s" obit was stated in "Colorado" 1899. Other males listed in the 1860 KS Census were James@ 1856, Henry B/G? @1858, John @1861; girls Anna @1863 KS and Louisa 1865 Ks. Has any of this Kansas family done family search or did they all leave Kansas? Please help. Thank you

Greetings Andrew, I have some information (attached) for you. It is from the book "Genealogical Notes of the Suttons of New Jersey" Edward F. H. Sutton Printed in 1900 Supplemented with hand written notes iby the author in the 1930's My copy is from an original in the Los Angeles Public Library. I received a copy of his hand written updates from a kind sole some years ago. I'm sure his name is in my archives someplace. These are reflected in so far as they apply to Abner in my attachment. One of those updates says: "An error on my authority. Abner was not "deceased at the date of the will", a copy of which I have recently seen. E,F.H.S. 1935" Looking at Israel Coon on RootsWeb her dates, if not exact. are very close, I hope this all helps in some small way.
