I am still seeking my gg-grandfather, Henry Sutton born abt 1850, I believe in Kentucky. He was married to Frances Lambert born abt 1860 in Virginia, died 1933 in Harlan County, Kentucky. They married April 9, 1878 in Knox County, KY. They had two children, my great grandmother, Susan Barbara (Susie) Sutton, born 1884 in Kentucky, died 1933 in Harlan County, KY. She was married to Green Dow Rose, Their son James Sutton, was born October, 1881 in Kentucky. I have been unable to find them anywhere, and wonder if Henry was a middle name possibly. There are some Suttons from Rockcastle County that might be relatives of Henry's, but I'm not sure about that. The Henry Sutton in Rockcastle County was married to a Frances, but she was not a Lambert and they didn't have a daughter Susan or Susie, though they had many other children. Any help would be appreciated. I have searched so long for them. Thanks! I have some information about his children, but I'd like to dig a bit deeper. He utimately moved to Muskingum County, Ohio where he died. I have a George Washington Sutton in my family line, but I since I haven't been able to find out anything on anyone, he probably isn't the same as the George W. Sutton you mentioned. onetulip123, have you looked at the Clayton Library online. It is a wonderful Geneology library here in Houston. If you are from this area it is in the Medical and Museum district. Try looking online. I have not been on the site, but heard it was good. Connie Olive Harley5269@aol.com
