    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/wkQBAIB/2499 Message Board Post: My greatgreatgreatgreatgrandmother was Polly /Mary Sutton born Jan.2,1798 in New York. She married Enos P. Cook. I'm having a hard time trying to find out who her parents were.I've tried mailing lists, message boards, historical societies, her obituary is only 4 lines long and gives no clues. Her death certificate isn't available it doesn't exist.I've also tried an assortment of volunteers online. The early census isn't alot of help because it doesn't list wives or children's names or exact ages. The only thing I could think to do was look up all the census for New York for 1800 and 1810 and see who had a female living in the house around the age that my Polly was.I've narrowed it down to 7 counties. If anyone can give me information to prove or disprove that the following had a daughter Polly/Mary I would appreciate it.CAYUGA CO.--Jeremiah,Zarchariah and John Sutton.Ontario Co.-- Elihu Sutton. Westchester CO----James,Daniel,Moses,Samuel,Joseph,Caleb,.ULSTER Co.-- David Sutton.GREENE CO.--Giles Sutton.DELWARE CO.- Caleb Sutton. And lastly ORANGE CO.John Sutton.Even if you have information to disprove that Polly wasn't the daughter of any of the following it would be appreciated because I can narrow my search.Thank-you! Colleen
