The collection includes the federal census (1790-1920), special schedules including slave and veterans, and spreadsheets for the state censuses of Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York and Wisconsin. I also have spreadsheets for Canada, England, Ireland, and Scotland. I am in the U.S. Navy and just returned from a 6+ month deployment, so I missed the release of the 1930 census this past spring. Dear Donna Lynn; I too have been searching for a SUTTON for the last 20+ years. I have run across one Sutton who is not in my line . . . although who knows for sure. Her name was Annie L. SUTTON and is buried in the Rodgers Cemetery. Location: T4 - R5 - S16. Abandoned cemetery located less than a mile south of Wakefield off the east side of the road. Wakefield is in Marshall County in the northern part of MS. The headstone reads: Annie L. Sutton, 21 Feb 1830 - 1 Mar 1854 born Caroline Co., VA. wife of A. L. Rodgers. A.L. Rodgers was Abner L. Rodgers and he and Annie were married 2 Sep 1855 in Lauderdale County, TN. (I don't think that the headstone was read correctly, she couldn't have died before she was married) Also too, A.L. Rodgers is not in the cemetery, so he may have moved on and married someone else. Consider "this" information part of your "process of elimination". Sutton's are plentiful in AR though. Published in the High Point, NC - Enterprise 2001-7-15 Albert Sutton Sr. GREENSBORO - Albert Franklin Sutton Sr., 93, died July 14, 2001, after a remarkable and fruitful life on earth. He now rests joyfully in the presence of the Lord. A native of Guilford County, he was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Minnie Eulalia Sutton, and a son, Walter Wayne Sutton. He is survived by his son, Al Sutton Jr., and his wife, Hilda, of High Point; two daughters, Fay S. Brantley and Kay S. Tolbert of Greensboro; a daughter-in-law, Cristine Sutton of Greensboro; a sister, Katie Louise Wyrick of Baltimore, Md.; four grandchildren, Sharon Sutton of High Point, Robert Tolbert Jr. and his wife, Beverly, of Kernersville, Chris Parr and his wife, Julie, of Greensboro, Lorie Tolbert of Greensboro; three great-granddaughters, Kayla and Emilie Tolbert, Grayson Parr; and many loving nieces and nephews. Graveside service will be 3 p.m. Monday at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 7-9 tonight at Hanes-Lineberry Funeral Home N. Elm Street Chapel and at other times at the residence of Kay Tolbert, 3124 Sedgefield Gate Road, Greensboro. She married Julius Seiforth or Serforth on 10 July 1853 in Tensas Parish, LA. She married Joseph Reiser/Riser in 1856 in Tensas Parish. Joseph was living in Tensas Parish in 1860 and Caldwell Parish in 1870. I am hoping Margaret's descendants can add to my Sutton family research.
