Does anyone know which John Sutton the Bible belonged to?
My ancestor William Sutton had a brother John. I believe them to be children of Moses Sutton. Would love to compare notes. William died in 1789 and Moses, his father died later. William died in Warren County NC and Moses died in Va. Billie Sutton Smith
I couldn't find the John Sutton bible on ebay so I assume the auction is over. I would really like to know what names were in it, I'm descended from a John Sutton (doubt it's mine, he died sometime in the 1830's but you never know!) _______________________________ Do you Yahoo!? No problem finding it. Hope you win the Auction and give us information on John Sutton. Will be watching for it. Thanks, Jane Sutton
those of you asking about the ebay auction for the publication with the John Sutton Bible-- if you search at Ebay--- use Bluegrass roots--and check under books/genealogy/publications or similar category--it is there--I have bid on it--don't know if I will win..IF I do, I will give all the info here regarding the Sutton bible for everyone to see..If I do not win, I plan on contacting the winner to see if they will tell me that info from the publication and I will relay here. Kathy

You actually need to type bluegrass as one word as in bluegrass roots. ----- Original Message ----- From: "JEANIE REVELLE" <[email protected]> To: <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2004 5:34 PM Subject: [SUTTON] Re: SUTTON-D Digest V04 #215 > I saw a posting about someone saw on e-bay, Blue grass roots , a family > bible of john Sutton. > i cannot find it on there , can you help me? > thanks > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: [email protected] > To: [email protected] > Sent: Tuesday, September 21, 2004 2:00 PM > Subject: SUTTON-D Digest V04 #215 > > > > ==== SUTTON Mailing List ==== > ONLY USE THE BELOW ADDRESS TO POST > queries to the SUTTON List > [email protected] >
Go to ebay, type in Blue Grass Roots. It is not the actual bible you will find but Blue Grass roots that is a magazine and the bible article is in it.
