Henry's parents were Robert and Lillia(Unknown) Sutton. I find them first in 1870 Lamar Co. TX. Robert is listed as Bob and Lillia as Delila. Henry had not been born yet but children listed are Laura 2, Clear 12, Bud 1, Bob 13,and George 13. There is also a older woman name Chaney Sutton 44 as being from Alabama b.about 1825. Bob and his Family are listed with the previous Sutton family of Alfred Sutton, wife also name Delila both from TN with the following children: Albert 26, Anderson 24, Perry 20, Emma 18, Isham 16, Marth 14, Angie(?) 12, Ella 10, Missouri 8, Nancy 6, Molley 4 and Berkley 3. This is possibly Robert's Father or maybe Brother, I am unsure which. Henry son of Robert and Lillia shows up in 1880 Lamar Co. TX with siblings Nannie(Missouri)(?) 18, Robert 16, Laura 11, Dempsia 9, Albert 8, William 2 and Alfred 2mo. Perry and Anderson Sutton are close by with families of their own now. Henry Sutton married Linnie Shelton 21 Sept 1895 in Lamar Co. TX . They had the following children; Deservee 1896 TX, They moved to Oklahoma between 1896-1898 and had the following children; Earkysee 1898, Alice 1900, a son name starting with G or B can't tell 1901, Ethel 1903, Limuel 1905, Dempsy 1906, Bernice 1909 and Isiah 1912. They were living in Little River Township, Cleveland Co, OK in 1900. By 1920 Linnie is re-married to Wylie Johnson and had the following children; Irene 4 and Coreen 2. It is passed down that these Sutton were of Native American ancestry. My two other Lineage line Harmon and Johnson were also of Native American ancestry. If any of these names ring a bell to anyone please don't hesitate to contact me. I have other Sutton, Harmon and Johnson Families but have be unable to connect all of them. ANY help would be greatly apperciated, am willing to share info. Thanx.

I am looking for the family of Elisha Sutton, born 1836 (1840?) in New York. He enlisted in the Union Army at Onieda N.Y. We know nothing about his life prior to showing up in Wi. in 1860. He died at an early age -1867- and left 4 small sons. Any information is appreciated.
