[email protected], I viewed your webpage but can't determine if your Sutton-Autry is connected to my husband's. "My" William Sutton was married to a Mary F. Lee. One was from Bladen County and the other from Pender Co NC. This William Sutton is dead by 1930 because his wife Mary is living with one of her daughters, either Daisy Robinson Sutton Platt or Mary Edith Sutton Autry in Wilmington, New Hanover Co, NC. Mary Edith Sutton married George Washington Autry of Sampson County, NC. She died of a stroke in her 30s Robert Edward Autry was the only son of George and Mary and lived with his aunt "Bobbie" (Daisy Robinson S. Platt) after his mother's death in Wilmington. I believe that Mary Edith and "Bobbie" had a brother James who married a female Autry from Sampson County. This James is buried in Sampson County not far from Autryville. I would be interested if you have any information on the William Sutton who married Mary F. Lee.
