Hi, Just a random thought: Smith is not an uncommon surname. Perhaps there are to many -SMITH surnames for the time frame you are researching. and the system cannot handle same. Try any given name - along with the SMITH surname - and see what happens. I had found in some of my searches =some sites state to many names.
