Greetings Listers Further to my previous posting, I've found there are two possible baptisms in the SFHG database for a Joan GREENFIELD old enough to have married in 1609, as follows: Entry from Arundel St Nicholas 1560 - 1606 Ch First names Joan Surname GREENFEILD Sex d Baptism Date 14-Aug Baptism Year 1586 Father first names William Father surname GREENFEILD Town Arundel County West Sussex Recorded father first names Willm Entry from Billingshurst St Mary the Virgin 1591 - 1666 Ch First names Joan Surname GREENFEILD Sex d Baptism Date 20-May Baptism Year 1594 Father first names Robert Father surname GREENFEILD Abode Pryors Town Billingshurst County West Sussex Recorded first names Jone As Arundel is only 2 miles from Lyminster where Joan was married, as against 13.6 miles from Billingshurst, I am inclined towards the first one, but that may not necessarily be so.
