    3. Thanks Tim. That is very helpful. It has led me to conclude that George H Adams is not part of the Adams family I am interested in. Far too complicated to explain why I thought he was. His family are evident in Eastbourne in the 1841 and 1851 censuses: parents are Richard and Cherry, born 1774 and 1785 respectively.
