    3. It is good to hear that this association is still active. I have tried a number of times of the past few years to make contact without any success. I am a descendant of William BORRER and Mary LINDFIELD (1758-1807) (daughter of Nathaniel LINDFIELD (1709-1759) m Mary CLIFFORD (1725-1813)). I am interested in finding out more about this line - I think I have two generations further back but I am not sure about the accuracy, but little of their descendants except through the BORRER line. I would have liked to come to the Reunion but unfortunately being notified just 2 days before the event will not give me enough time to make arrangements. Best wishes for the day Chris Bristol UK On 13/09/2007, malcolmlinfield@aol.com <malcolmlinfield@aol.com> wrote: > > Linfield and Lindfield Family Reunion > > There are estimated to be only > about 1000 people in the United Kingdom having the surnames Linfield, Lindfield > or Lingfield and many of them will be converging on the town of Horsham, Sussex > on September 15th for a special family gathering and exhibition. > > The occasion will be the annual > meeting of the Lin(d)field One Name Group, a family history society dedicated > to researching these surnames, which will be celebrating its 15th > anniversary this year at the Barn, in The Causeway. > > The Group has about 70 > members around the world, all descended from one of just 9 ancestors. > > The meeting will be open to anyone with Linfield > or Lindfield connections.
