    1. [SXP] Jenners of Chiddingly?
    2. Colin Parkinson
    3. I have very recently found some roots in Sussex. My 3xgreatGrandfather Edward Jenner and family appear in the 1841 census for Chiddingly, all born "in county":- Edward Jenner, aged 35, Ag Lab Ann Jenner, (wife) 30 William (son) 12 Mary (daug) 10 Rebecca (daug) 8 Emily (daug) 6 Jasper (son) 4 George (son) 2. My 2xgreatGrandfather By the 1851 census 3 of the sons appear on the Hellingly Union Workhouse where the enumarator has commented "Father Transported":- George Jenner aged 12 Edward Jenner, 9 Jasper Jenner, 14, all born Chiddingly. I will be pleased to hear from anyone also researching this family or has access to the parish records for Chiddingly. Also, would details of the offence that led to "Father Transported" (1841-1851) appear in the Lewes Quarter Sessions? Any help or guidance much appreciated. Regards Colin Parkinson
