    3. Hello Listers I have a copy of a document dated 1598, entitled "Taking Care of the Poor" in which is this entry relating to my 9 x ggf: "Antonye Waters hath two able hoyes to worke". My question is: what are 'two able hoyes'? Can anyone help please? I can send a copy of the whole document should anyone want it - it was sent to me originally, but I forget by whom! The document lists several other people with their standing in relation to work, as follows (Idle seem to mean unemployed): Many thanks Pam Beaudesert, Queensland, Australia
