Hi all I have the following family as putative ancestors via the daughter Elizabeth. As you can see, the children were born at various places. I have checked, via Record Offices, the baptisms at East Preston, Lancing, Tichfield and Catherington (IGI) without finding any of these children. Can anyone please suggest where else to look? Hi John, According to Parloc Lancing and Preston are only about 7 miles from each other. Nearest major town seems to be Worthing, but I could be wrong. Only about three miles away. These are not my areas of Sussex, BUT I have seen on numerous lists that there are pretty good Coast Guard records around which might be enlightening to get his records that way, which may shed some light.
