I'm looking for anybody who has the above names in their tree: They seemed to mainly live in the Surrey/Sussex area. I have a photograph of 4 generations taken in 1908 in which the oldest person I was told, is Elizabeth EDE, but I have yet to find her in the 1901 census to verify she was still alive, or to find her death. I really would like to identify this person and am hoping to make contact with any decendents. Elizabeth EDE, b 1836 in Dorking, married Matthew HULL in 1859. There are three coincidences in your message. Firstly, my name is also Ros. Secondly, my grandfather Frederick Augustus Stevens was a close friend of Arthur Ede of Midhurst. And thirdly, my grandmother's sister Winifred Ellen Sturt married Alexander Meckiff Moon in 1913 in Tonbridge. I dont know if there is any connection with yours.
