Hi all, Overington BLUNDEN was a Cromwellian adventurer who obtained lands in Kilkenny, Ireland, in 1653. He was married prior to 1630, but I have not yet found the name of his wife. I am interested in finding his origins. Both the surnames BLUNDEN and OVERINGTON were fairly common in Sussex at this time, and it seems that Overington was often used as a forename also in Sussex. I am assuming that a BLUNDEN male married an OVERINGTON female sometime in the late 16th or early 17th centuries, but have not yet found such a marriage. If anyone is looking at these two families, and can give me any information about his possible origins, then it would be much appreciated. Regards Jon
