According to the certified copy of the birth certificate issued for National Insurance purposes to my grandfather, Henry KEMP (born 27 March 1881) his parents are Mark KEMP and Sarah Jane formally REED. We have struggled to find any details of Sarah Jane REED. >From the GRO Index we have found a marriage of Mark KEMP and Sarah Jane PAGE (1881 Q4 Ticehurst District ) we have also found from the GRO Index the birth registration of Sarah Jane PAGE (1856 Q4 Ticehurst District) there is no mention of Sarah Jane REED. Would you please check the Burwash Registers for the wedding of Mark KEMP (1881 Q4) and the birth of Sarah Jane PAGE (1856 Q4), we would love to know whose names are on the certificates.
