Hi List, I am interested to hear from anyone who may have connections to my Ford ancestors who appear to have originated in Westbourne Sussex, then are found in Chelsea London, and then in Avoca Victoria Australia. My 3 x Great Grandmother - Sarah Ford arrived with her husband Peter King, together with their 3 children, Charles, Peter Jnr., and Mary Ann, from Chelsea London in the mid 1850's. Her husband went on to set up a Bakery business with their 2 sons in High St Avoca. Her parents Charles Ford and Ann Richardson were said to have been born in Sussex. I would like to make contact with any descendents of this Ford family and am willing to swap all information I have collected to date. Hoping there is someone out there who is interested ! With best wishes from sunny Queensland ................ Joan Jackson. Some Surnames connected to the Ford Family include :- Carslake, Clark, Cruikshank, Eastmore, Furguson, Hartley, Harvey, King, Newman, Noble, Paragreen, Richardson and Tijou.

Hello list, Heather wrote > There seems to be a gap 1795-1800, I wonder if Mary Chr 1/2/1818 to > Charles, > labourer and Ann is theirs or perhaps a son not yet found? 'Gaps' can often be explained by one (or more) miscarriages which would not be recorded. Regards Geoff
