I have a William HOWELL on the 1881 Census as the son of James & Clara HOWELL born Hove , aged 6, a scholar. I have been looking for a birth in the years 1874/5/6. I have been in touch with East Sussex Record Office who have searched for his birth in Hove St.Andrews, Hove St John the Baptist and Hove St. Andrew Waterloo Street baptism records. I have obtained several certificates using the FREEBMD site details for 1875 but none have been the William HOWELL I have been looking for. If anyone has any access to any baptismal records for the Hove/Brighton area please could they have a look for any William HOWELLrecords. Thanks Bev
