    3. Hi Marion & all Firstly I am baffled as to why people mail off list for this type of thing that others would be able to help with, that is one of the benefits of being on any list The latest release now shows in the New and Updated list "England & Wales, Prerogative Court of Canterbury Wills, 1384-1858 1012964 (records) (released) Yesterday Its part of the UK record sets, not sure if the essentials level has it but Premium or Worldwide will I would disagree with you re Ancestry and speed of informing researchers of newly added data, after several years their normal mode of operation is to release it and them tell subscribers by a message on their home page a day or usually more after release, personally I prefer this approach Unlike some other sites that *say* they *will* release XYZ and then don't But all in all its a very important database for our research and greatly welcomed Nivard Ovington in Cornwall (UK) On 07/01/2014 10:11, Marion Woolgar wrote: > I have had a number of E-mails overnight from people who are not able to > find the new PCC Wills database on Ancestry. > > Firstly, I'm not sure what subscriptions it is on. I think that it's the difference between clicking the 'Reply' button and the 'Reply All' button. On some Rootsweb lists, you click the 'Reply' button and any message automatically goes to the List; on other lists, like Sussex-Plus, you have to click on 'Reply All' to achieve the same thing. It's something that often catches me out. Best wishes, Marion Woolgar Bognor Regis, West Sussex

Sussex is set so that if you click on Reply it goes only to the sender of the message (you). If you click on Reply All it goes to the sender of the message /and/ the list. Some lists are set so that clicking on either Reply or Reply All goes to the list. I always chose Reply All for that reason. I can always take out any addresses I don't want to send to. -- Connie http://oursalmons.wordpress.com/
