    1. [SXP] Burials in Litlington two days apart
    2. PMR
    3. Greetings Listers A pair of my ancestors, Richard SURGEON and his wife Susan, were buried at St Michael's Church, Litlington, just two days apart. Susan was buried on 9th Aug 1697 and Richard on 11 Aug 1697. Does anyone know if there was a spate of burials in Litlington at this time? Maybe from a plague or some similar catastrophe? As far as I know, they had two sons - Richard born about 1680 (baptism not yet located) and Thomas baptised in Litlington on 1 Nov 1685. The marriage of Richard snr and Susan has not been located either. Richard jnr was also known as Richard SARGEANT (of various spellings!). Many thanks Pam Beaudesert, Queensland, Australia
