Lynne, There is a PCC will for William BRIGDEN of Cuckfield probate 1799 on the TNA site. Go to the Wills search of the National Archives: http://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/records/wills.htm and enter William Brigden, location Sussex and it will find just the 1 will. You can pay a small fee to get a PDF copy, note that this is really a transcript made by a clerk at the time of probate (today we would have photocopied it).
