David, I must have been lucky. I can't remember any 1911 records without street numbers under signatures at bottom right. But I see there are some. One technique might be to look at the route taken by the enumerator, which is usually on page 1 of each batch. Another possibility is to page backwards and forwards until you find a cross street, then count how many houses your ancestor was from the corner. Peter
