    1. [SXP] Thomas DANIEL - Freeman of Hastings
    2. PMR
    3. Greetings Listers I have just found a note that Thomas DANIEL (my 2 x ggf) was made a Freeman of Hastings on 6 December, but I haven't recorded the year! The fee he paid was 40 shillings. Tom was the Licensee of the Anchor Inn in George Street in Hastings from 1805 until his retirement in 1840 (and owner of the premises until his death), so I'm guessing that it was in this period and later rather than sooner as he was only in his late 20s in 1805. Is there a list of the Freemen of Hastings which would give me the year please? Many thanks. Pam Beaudesert, Queensland, Australia
