Hi Jack, I believe BEECHING is originally a Kent name. I have a BEECHING family in my tree who centred on a blacksmiths shop in Charing, Kent from abt 1600 to the 1800s. Before that it was a plentiful name but centred on one particular area. > From: "[shawmail.gv.shawcable.net]:[Jack Beeching]" <jbee18@shaw.ca>> Subject: [SXP] Sussex Surname Interests -ANDROWES, BEECHING, BRADFORD,> BROWN, BRYANT, CHALONOR, CLEER, CONSTABLE, EDWARDS, ELLIOT, GALE,> GARTON, GOODWIN, HERIOTT, HOLDEN, JENNER, PENFOLDE, SCRASE, STEER,> STEYNING, TUPPIN, TURNER, WADE, WHITPAINE > > It has been a while since I posted this list of names.
