Hi Is anyone reasearching the Hoad's of Heathfield, Warbleton & Hailsham. John Hoad, my 2xgreatgrandfather was born 1819 at Heathfield to Martha Hoad. I think Martha was born 1802, the daughter of Thomas Hoad & Sarah Gasson.(I haven't found Martha's death yet) In 1845, John married Charlotte Elizabeth Dawes at Warbleton. Children(10) Caroline Martha, born 1846 at Warbleton Anne, born 1847 at Warbleton Henry, born 1850 at Warbleton Elizabeth Jane, born 1852 at Warbleton John Inkerman, born 1855 at Hailsham Federick Joseph, born 1859 at Hailsham(my greatgrandfather) Charles Edward, born 1865 at Hailsham Emily Edith, born 1866 at Hailsham Mary, born 1867 at Hailsham George Archibald, born 1868 at Hailsham I think there may be some more children that died young and don't show up on any census.
