I have found reference to Ruth BUDD, daughter of Thomas & Ann " Overseers of the Poor: settlement - ref. PAR415/32 Removal Orders to the parish FILE - Removal order to Lewes St Thomas at Cliffe - ref. PAR415/32/3/46 - date: 16 May 1831 [from Scope and Content] Ruth Budd (17), daughter of Thomas and Ann Budd; from Burwash" She may be the sister of my elusive 3rd grt-grand father & as there is no baptism record for either in Burwash Thanks Barbara in sunny New Zealand
