Hi Phil My mother's relatives include Elizabeth DEWDNEY , baptised at Warnham, Sussex on 12th Oct 1806, daughter of Peter DEWDNEY being the 4th of 7 children. It seems she married Robert WICKENS in Horsham on 22nd Sept 1850 and was buried in Horsham on 26th September 1851. Maybe a victim of late child bearing ? Robert WICKENS sister Mary Ann was my 3 x great grandmother. Shermanbury and Warnham are not a large distance apart. Is there any connection ?
