Please can anyone help? I am looking for anything about David Christopher Lewis born 1849 in Brimpton, Berkshire. I can find him on the 1861 census age 11 with his family in Thatcham, Berkshire but then he and his family disappear, until November 1920 when I have a marriage for him to Caroline Rose Wills aged 65 a spinster (and relative of mine) in Canada. He is a widower aged 71. Caroline Rose sailed over from England on her own (I have the passenger record) to marry him. David's mother is listed on the 1861 census as a Methodist Preacher - could this be a clue - have they gone abroad as missionaries and is there anywhere I can find out? I know this is a long shot but any help or suggestions much appreciated. Caroline Rose Wills's father was born in Chichester, but I don't think that is any help on this occasion. Trish
