Hello, Several years ago I made the trip from America to London and one very special day was spent researching at Lewes. It was all made possible because of this wonderful group. One member who was researching the same family I was offered to meet me at the train station and escort me to the Record Office in Lewes. We took the train, hiked up the long hill and he said "Prepare to enter another world" and that we did....through the ancient stone arches and into the endless wealth of information waiting there to be discovered. It's a day I will never forget!!! I came home with a new cousin and friend. I envy your trip...you will be so glad you went.
